Skate & Play

Skate & Play 1: Suitable for beginner skaters with little or no skating experience and who are comfortable participating wihtout a parent.

Skate & Play 2: Suitable for skaters who have completed Skate & Play1 or who are able to stand up unassisted, demonstrate balance and are able to walk across the ice with speed.

Skate & Play 3: Suitable for skaters that have completed Skate & Play 2 or who are able to push and glide forward, march backwards and who are able to stop.

EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS FOR PARTICIPANTS:
- single blade hockey or figure skaters (please try and avoid plastic skates)
- CSA approved hockey helmet with full cage
- warm comfortable clothing and water proof pants
- thick mittens
- bicycle and ski helmets are NOT permitted

Program Details

Class Duration: 30 minutes (11 WEEKS)

Student/Instructor ratio: 6:1 (Skate & Play 1, 2, 3)

Ages: 3 - 6 years

Fee: $275 (HST included)

Exemption Dates

Saturdays: February 15th (Family Day Weekend)
Thursdays: March 14th (March Break)

*Ages are suggested on average performance. Skaters may be moved to a different class based on skill level.
*Fees listed are for the duration of the session. Late registrations will be pro-rated based on start date.
